The most tried, tested and trusted form of exercise class there is and despite all the fitness industry’s attempts to come up with new names and ideas, circuit training retains its dominance as a solid, honest workout that challenges your stamina, endurance and willpower.
There are many styles to a circuit; timed rounds, ladders, pyramids and more but you can generally expect 10-15 exercises that will test virtually every muscle you have.
Arms, legs, back, shoulders, nothing gets spared in a fast, calorie annihilating hour.
STRENGTH / ENDURANCE – One or more parts strength with an endurance finisher.
Example:
STRENGTH : 5 rounds of 10 Deadlifts @75%
5 rounds of 10 Barbell Floor Row @75%
5 rounds of 10 Kettlebell Swings @75%
ENDURANCE : 10 x 500m RUN / ROW / SKI @75% with 3 mins rest between intervals
Plenty of water and a sweat towel.
