Engine Day is the day on which you discover you have a heart and a pair of lungs. By tracking your own data on the Concept2 rowers, bikes and ski ergs or even performing the activities at home or outside yourself on the road, your endurance will reach new heights you may not have thought possible.
Engine day will always be designed to be achievable at all levels. The experienced Team instructors don’t leave anyone feeling like they can’t take part. Everyone leaves this session feeling supported, but more importantly, they leave feeling like they can achieve anything else if life that they set their mind to.
Engine day will teach you new techniques involving interval training and hone your high intensity training skills. Often clients feel as though long bouts of low level cardio such as running on the road or the treadmill are the best ways to get and keep fit. This low intensity steady state cardio can be time consuming to the busy family or professional, and therefore fitness can become dismissed as something that takes far to long.
