What sort of exercise will I be doing on this course?

This course, on three different nights of the week, will be 3 different types of 1 hour group personal training sessions focussing on strength, aerobic fitness and a combination of the two. All exercises will be aimed at welcoming you into this type of gym environment and helping you to feel really comfortable working out in what might be a new way.

What type of equipment will be used?

The equipment used will vary but will consist of kettlebells, barbells, sandbags and Concept2 rowers, ski machines and indoor bikes. All equipment will be explained and you will be encouraged to work in order to get the results that you are looking for, but also you will be allowed to work at your pace and your level.

How many are in the class?

The class will be capped at 10.

Who is the class suitable for?

The class is suitable for those new to or resuming fitness or for those that already workout but are perhaps unfamiliar with Team Training’s style.
How can the class be tailored to individual needs?

The facility used for these sessions is a fully equipped gym. We have experience with understanding people’s levels and abilities and we can cater for all. We have vast experience at working with clients of all fitness levels and easily integrate everybody’s needs. There sessions are also aimed at clients who are all of the same level, so you should feel in the same boat as everyone else.

How can you reassure me that I will fit in and not feel out of my depth?

We want you to keep coming back so we will do all we can to make you feel as comfortable as possible. We will ensure that you never feel out of place or the focus of attention. Our systems are set up this way.

Why do we do this course?

This class is aimed at welcoming anyone who really wants to take charge of their fitness. By having 3 sessions per week over the 4 week period everyone tends to focus and achieve results. Once the 4 weeks are up more clients tend to feel so much better and in a great place to continue their health and fitness journey. Sometimes a 4 week blast like this is exactly what you need to get you back on track.

What can I expect to gain from doing this course?

By attending three weekly sessions you will benefit from increased strength, aerobic ability and confidence. You may also benefit from fat loss – if your nutrition is a focus too, improved sleep, health, happiness and build a stronger immune system. You’ll also meet some great new people.

We could tell you that you will lose a stone and look amazing in a bikini or your swim shorts too. But the truth is that this is down to you. If by doing this regular exercise 3 times per week you are in a calorie deficit then of course you will lose fat too. We would of course recommend for the best results during this 4 weeks to track your calorie consumption to an achievable level, and also get out for a daily 45 minute walk.
